Ha! I don’t believe I need lift mine–what’s inside is bubbling over and nudging the lid, ever so slightly, off the pot. There’s bound to be a mess to clean up. 😉
somedays to lift that lid, i need pot holders….other days, when that lid is lifted, what’s inside needs many more hours of simmering before it will become anything…..

Exactly what I’m trying to do. Unfortunately I’m not liking what I’m finding. Time to pour it out and start over!
