lessons I’ve learned from
{men} about life

When you’re not at work, have fun. Relax. Stop worrying.

It’s okay to cry about loss, death, or children.

Life is a contest. Every single part of it.

Taking naps is essential to the quality of life.

Dogs are better than people a lot of the time.

Sometimes, being selfish is entirely acceptable.

Even when it hurts, get up and keep running.
Stay in the game. Don’t give up.

Most of the time, it’s okay to be silent.

Good enough is pretty much always good enough.

In the end, it all comes down to bodily functions.

Strength isn’t a muscle, it’s a state of mind.

Having hairy legs keeps you warmer in winter.

Love isn’t wine and roses, it’s whiskey and dandelion.

A fight should only last for five minutes.
After that, it’s time to be friends again.

Work hard, play hard, snore loudly.

and when my hubby finally realized that crying made me love him more….well, what can i say !

what do you think they have learned from us 🙂
i know my hubby tries to figure out why i need so many shoes….oh but that’s a mystery that the male species will never understand 🙂

indeed, but then again, I can’t figure out why they need so many baseball caps…

Some men (this old guy in particular) truly exemplify the saying “still waters run deep.”

I learned how to use a hammer without hitting my thumb! 🙂

Oh gosh, yes, how could I have left that one out! And power tools…using power tools is fun! My father bought me a drill last Christmas, and then a jigsaw for my birthday…And I still use the hammer he gave me when I first left home.

Oh, this made me SMILE!! Especially “Most of the time it’s okay to be silent”. This can be quite crazy making – LOL!

I’ve learned to shop like a man – get in , get what you need, get out. Stop agonizing. Sometimes I have to just take myself off for a day of remembering what it’s like to cruise every aisle in the store and ooh & ahh over everything.

Interesting blog! Is your theme custom made or did you download
it from somewhere? A theme like yours with a few simple
adjustements would really make my blog shine. Please let me know where you got your design.
    Many thanks
