half ghost, half zephyr
alight with silence
no compass necessary
carry me home
this touched me in a way stuff seldom does. no compass necessary, carry me home. i feel like i should drop to my knees & say an amen.
I love this, Kel. It really resonates with me. Yesterday a crow fell out of the sky and died right in front of me while I was meditating. This morning, on my run , I found a crow feather that I brought back to put on the other crow’s grave…. The image and your poem give me comforting chills…..
This is one of my favorites – photos and words.
Oh, sweet Kelly. Never in a million years could I put words together the way you do. You’re simply brilliant! I so wish you would publish a book with your photos and poetry – I’ll buy the first one!!!! xoxo
I’m with Tina on this one 😉
big deep grateful sigh.
this feels quiet all the way
to my bones and beyond
and I needed that today.
The book, the book, the book, oh where oh where is that book sweet Mrs M ?????
smiles….no compass needed….home has a magnet of its own….smiles…lovely little short…
