David and I are in southern NV through the winters and then move to Cedar UT for the summer. We move to avoid the extreme temperatures in southern NV and this poem captures the discomfort of a July day in that location! So much said in so few words!

This is my penciled-in story,
offered up in bits and pieces,
prose and poetry, image and
story. I'm so glad you are here,
pull up a chair, let's sit by
the fire and talk about life.

Your words and images always inspire me and make me stop to pay attention to my world … thank you.

Ha. So your weather has not been
much different than ours —
the clouds at least
give a little relief.
