one winter, long ago, i bought myself flowers each week. it got me through the winter. may they do the same for you. winter, here, is still in its icy grip and shows no signs of relenting.
perhaps i will go to the store tomorrow for flowers….

I love that stage in a tulip’s evolution when they start to lean downwards and fall to the table as they open. They are doing just that, right behind me. soft pink and lovely.
Not quite time yet for new flowers…. but soon!
